How to make your own Sudoku puzzles
Getting too used to playing puzzles? Then, why don't you create your own puzzles? Creating puzzles is not so hard, and it's fun to see others playing your puzzles!
Here we show you how to create Sudoku puzzles, which are relatively easy to make.
| Step 1 - Exposed cells and white cells. |
|
To start with, we made 28 figures visible. For beginners, it's a good idea to practice with about 30 visible figures. In this tutorial, we call the cells with visible figures "exposed cells." Exposed cells are shown in blue. Ordinary cells in which users fill in the figures are called "white cells." |
| Step 2 - Fill in a white cell. |
|
|
Generally, the first step is to select a white cell and fix a figure to the cell. In this example, we fixed a 7 to the cell shown in the left image.
Next, we need to place 7s on the exposed cells so that the users can fill in the white cell.
If 7s are exposed on each of the three pink lines, a 7 on the white cell will be fixed. |
|
Let's choose one exposed cells from each line and place 7s on the cells marked with red circles. Here, please remember that we try not to place the figures we are dealing now. We need to leave as much blank exposed cells as possible for later, otherwise we may end up with unsolvable puzzles. |

In this example, we fixed the figures as in the left image, but of course you can fix them any way. This fixes 7s to four cells. |
